[RESTAURANT REVIEW] ITO

Even though I've seen the evolution of Ito from the massive work in March through the opening in May 2013 and their mouth-watering photos regularly posted on Facebook, I have actually only been there last night.
Lovely greeting in this cute&tiny restaurant offering a short yet reliable menu of Japanese "tapas", as well as a fabulous collection of sakes.
Try them all (10 dishes for 65€, ideal option for 2 people) and the first bite will take you right away to Shibuya, a Tokyo area famous for its narrow izakaya alongside the railroad.
From the excellent miso soup to the spiced up Denkaku eggplant, the surprising Chahan cauliflower or the amazing risotto with dashi vegetables, everything is truly delicious!

Healthy consumption starts with food&drinks.
A new organic food spot recently opened in Paris, Café Pinson, claims it from the window: "in detox we trust".

They have, indeed, adopted this credo from the entrance to the plate content. (The only exception being the -recycled?- paper towels in the toilets).

Conceived by Dorothée Meilichzon (who has also designed the Hôtel Paradis, the Loustic and the brand new Fish Club), the place is very welcoming. Sculpted plaster wall, comfy stools, soft couches, big tables to share with strangers... Everything is in place for you to stay and relax, despite the take-away option.

100% veggie, gluten free, wheat free, butter free, white sugar free... basically all the unhealthy stuff is banned so everything tastes good and feels good. Especially the granola with almond milk!
